"My name is Christine Lytal. I am the director of strategic partnerships here at Launchpad. I'm located in New Hampshire, about 45 minutes outside of Boston, Massachusetts. So stepping into the leadership role here at Launchpad, there's so much flexibility. You're not just a number, you actually matter in your input matters here.

I think throughout my career, there have been a lot of setbacks on a personal level. In 2012 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and during one of my nine brain surgeries, my cochlear nerve was actually severed, resulting in the permanent loss of hearing in my right ear.

I'm lucky enough to have a service dog named cricket, who accompanies me in my everyday job. But that hasn't held me back from succeeding in my career in organizations such as Launchpad, who really look beyond those disabilities and are very diverse and have opportunities for advancement and management roles."
