Director of Sales

What You Will Do

As our Director of Sales, the selected candidate will build and grow partnerships by developing key sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Launchpad is rapidly growing, this role will work closely with the CEO, the Professional Services leadership team, and other key internal & external stakeholders to develop and oversee the organization’s long-range corporate and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales plans and strategies to support our growth with exiting and new markets for both channel and direct sales teams
  • Identify new strategic partnership opportunities
  • Structure, negotiate, and close partnerships in order to meet or exceed objectives
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners at every level
  • Assist in the development of pricing, product and market strategies *
  • Develop a clear, concise and actionable Channel Partner and Direct strategy plan
  • Meet and exceed key performance metrics relating to revenue, sales growth profit, cost of sale and market share
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Essential and Desirable Criteria and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Successful experience in channel and direct sales in an IT services environment.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, sales execution management, and sales effectiveness, in a B2B environment
  • Proven ability to design, build and manage the operational elements associated with high performing sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives and key opinion leaders within sales organizations.
  • Proven cross company collaboration and teaming skills.
  • Experience driving change in global organizations.
  • Proven track record of building sales plans that drive sales targets
  • Results driven change agent, based on high performance strategies and customer experience excellence
  • Successfully defined and implemented sales process to improve visibility and team performance
  • Accomplished at building a team culture based on aggressive goals, disciplined adherence to sales best practices and coaching to bring out the best in people
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
