What You Will Do

As a company that has experienced triple digit growth over the last three years, every day at Launchpad brings new challenges and opportunities. As a Client Manager – Talent Engagement, you will be asked to do the following: 

  • Tenaciously sell Launchpad’s staff augmentation services to IT professionals, hiring managers and executives
  • Develop business relationships through sales calls and meetings with new and existing IT professionals, hiring managers and users of contingent workforce
  •  Manage newly developed customer relationships by identifying hiring needs, presenting qualified candidates and facilitate the recruitment fulfillment cycle
  • Work with internal recruiting teams to identify recruiting strategies and candidates
  • Prospect, identify and sell leads to grow account base and market share
  • Prepare and present sales pitches to candidates.

Who You Are

Success at Launchpad demands sophisticated communication, emotional intelligence and intellectual curiosity.  The ideal candidate has successfully sold professional services products to senior technology buyers and is comfortable speaking at the strategic level.  With this in mind, we’ve often found candidates with academic backgrounds in Business, Marketing and Communication have performed well. We are also open to considering exceptional candidates from any academic field, as work ethic, unrelenting determination and tenacity to learn and grow are the most important prerequisites.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful IT solutions sales experience (staff augmentation or recruitment agency is preferred)
  • Experience with the Salesforce Customer Success Platform including MuleSoft is an asset
  • Persuasive, confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly sophisticated communication skills (oral & written) 
  • Ability to establish contacts and build long term relationships
  • Articulate, positive attitude and presentable demeanor with an ability to maintain composure during negotiation and in the face of rejection
  • Focused, entrepreneurial, service-oriented and accountable
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior level technology and financial services professionals.
